No RFSB will be accepted after the previously stated time and date. Telephone, email, or facsimile RFSB'S will not be accepted. Prices quoted shall be valid for sixty days following the RFSB opening. The contract for this RFSB shall expire on December 31, 2025, unless the City, at its sole discretion, may extend the contract for the contractor to complete the streets in this Bid in 2026. Surface mix shall end on October 18th as in accordance with Maine DOT standards. Any surface mix after that date will need approval by the Director or their designee. It is the custom of the City of Augusta to pay its bills within 30 days following receipt of bills for all items covered by the purchase order. Except as otherwise required by law or as specifically provided to the contrary herein, the award of this RFSB shall be governed by the City's purchasing ordinance. The City encourages women and minority-owned businesses to submit proposals. The City of Augusta reserves the right to accept or reject any or all RFSB'S or any portion thereof, or waive any technicalities deemed to be in the best interest of the City. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
