Site work for a water / sewer project in El Paso, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Project Description: The new water purification facility will be a large-scale water treatment project to directly purify treated wastewater and redistribute it as potable reuse drinking water. The facility will receive treated wastewater directly from the Roberto R. Bustamante WWTP and purify it using advanced treatment technologies such as microfiltration/ultrafiltration, nanofiltration/ reverse osmosis, UV advanced oxidation, granular activated carbon, stabilization, and chlorine disinfection, before distributing it for urban water use. The main process building will also include designated areas for administration, research, and education. Question Deadline 04/02/2025 All questions, clarifications, or coordination issues must be in writing and reference the appropriate detail(s) and/or the specification section and paragraph via the RFI Submission Form no later than Ten (10) business days before the bid date. Bidders shall not contact the Owner, Architect, or Engineers directly. Questions should be directed to Edy Ortega at Edyortega@pcl.com. As of March 21, 2025, a construction manager has been selected for this project. A firm construction timeline for this project has not yet been released.
