Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Saguenay, Quebec. Completed plans call for the construction of a 324,000-square-foot, six-story above grade military facility; and for site work for a military facility.
This lot consists of soil decontamination in the area of the future fighter aircraft reception facilities at Canadian Forces Base Bagotville. As part of this project, the selected contractor will be required to: Preload the affected areas; Excavate contaminated soils and soils that can be reused on site; Transport contaminated materials/soils to authorized sites; Pile or backfill the FFTA site with reusable materials; Decontaminate and dismantle underground concrete structures; Manage excavation and truck cleaning water; Maintain, service and, if necessary, repair access roads used by machinery; Install a storm drain on the FFTA site.
