Renovation of a military facility in Dallas, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility.
Provide and replace Chilled Water Pumps VFDs (Variable-Frequency Drive) units used on Pumps 7,8, & 9. The current Cutler-Hammer HV9000 is becoming obsolete. The contractor shall be responsible for all costs associated with providing, removing, and replacing the equipment. Questions shall be accepted by the Government in writing via email no later than 3/26/2025, 4 pm CST. Please list "Technical Questions - 36C25725Q0410 - Chilled Water Pump Replacement (7-9 VFD)" in the subject line of the e-mail and send to Sherine Brooks, Contract Specialist, at sherine.brooks@va.gov. Please include in your questions the section of the solicitation/page number that your question is referencing. QA Yes this is a brand-new contract. Installation will begin once all parts are delivered onsite. ACH580-BCR-156A-4+F267 +F2 part at the end actually + F267 No, not tax exempt. Any modifications to the contract will require a firm fixed price quote from the vendor before any work is performed. No, sign in at the Energy Center. Yes electrical outlets are available for contractors to connect to in the construction area. Contractor can park behind the Energy Center, or inside the chill plant during work if no other work is being conducted. Yes system commissioning activities can be performed during regular hours.
