Each bid shall be plainly marked "2025 ResidentialSidewalk Repair Program - Bid Call #: 2025-01". Allbid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposaldeposit in a cashier's check or surety bond in an amountequal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bidproposal. Should the successful bidder fail to enter intosuch contract and furnish satisfactory performancebond within the time stated in the specifications, thebid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the City ofEllensburg. The engineer's estimate for the project is$225,000 to $375,000, plus tax (if applicable). The project consists of furnishing all labor, materials,equipment, and other miscellaneous items to removeexisting sidewalk, curb and gutter, pavement, subgrade;prepsubgrade, place and compact top course,construct cement concrete curb, gutter, sidewalk; curbramps, and drive approaches; install asphalt. Schedule"B" requires the furnishing of all labor, materials,equipment, and other miscellaneous items for transitstop improvements. Schedule "C" and "D" are the Cityof Ellensburg's street related concrete work and utilityrelated concrete work respectively, and shall be usedthroughout the year on an as needed basis. TheCity of Ellensburg, Washington, reserves the rightto reject any or all bids and to waive irregularities orinformalities in the bid or in the bidding. Responsibilityand competency of bidders and their subcontractorswill be considered in making the award.
