Site work and paving for a road / highway in Rockford, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Each bidder shall submit with his bid the information specified in the bid documents for compliance with the laws of the State of Ilinois on Fair Employment Practices and with the City of Rockford's Ordinance on Equal Employment and Business Opportunity. Any bid which fails to include the compliance items properly completed will not be read and will not be considered. All Contracts for the Construction of Public Works are subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/1-12). The City of Rockford reserves the right to accept or reject any and all proposals and to waive technicalities. Bids will be accepted until the specified opening time and date. Any bidder attempting to deliver after the opening time and date will be refused. Answers to questions will be posted on the City's website in the form of an addendum no later than April 8, 2025 at 5:00 pm. NOTES: Last day for questions is April 7, 2025 at 12:00 pm. Questions regarding this Bid/RFP shall be addressed to: Dajana Glisic - dajana.glisic@rockfordil.gov This work shall conform to Section 202 and Section 440 of the Standard Specifications and consist of the complete excavation and removal of all material necessary to construct the pavement to subgrade and to do any necessary regrading of parkways
