The Town of Bancroft (the Owner) is requesting bids for Monck Street Improvements. In general, the Work consists of: o Widening of the existing pavement that was constructed under the previous Mock Street Rehabilitation Contract; o Resurfacing (overlay) of Monck Street to accommodate a left turn lane approaching Valleyview Drive from the south which provides increased storage to alleviate traffic congestion during peak times; o The modification of the existing overhead traffic signal arms to accommodate the installation of a new left turn lane including a dedicated third phase for a left turn movement on Monck Street approaching Valleyview Drive from the south; o Miscellaneous other roadway improvements within the project limits.
