Renovation of a mixed-use development in East Northport, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
The Northport VA Medical Center is requiring the purchase of fifty-three (53) brand name only tube bundles for existing shell and tube exchangers (steam to hot water) as a direct replacement for the existing tube bundles that have reached their end-of-life expectancy. Failure to procure these replacement tube bundles would lead to an inoperable heating system at the facility. The scope of this project is to supply 53 tube bundles for existing shell and tube exchangers (steam to hot water). The tube bundles have reached their expected life expectancy and need replacement in order to run an operational heating system throughout the multiple buildings that they serve. This replacement will be in kind. The equipment is to be delivered to the Northport VA medical center warehouse building 36; Located at 79 Middleville Road, Northport, NY 11768. The period of performance will begin with a Notice to Proceed (NTP) issued after contract award. Total period of performance shall not exceed (210) days after NTP. This period of performance includes reasonable duration for submittal review and approval prior to ordering the tube bundle and relief valve.
