DASNY is soliciting bids for New Your College of Technology - Buildings L&G Roof Replacement and Asbestos Abatement project. This will be a single prime general construction contract. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to the following: 1. Removal of hazardous materials at Building G only. 2. Remove existing built-up roof system down to the roof deck and install a cold fluid applied liquid resin roofing system. 3. Install walkway protection surface on new roof system 4. Modifications to existing walls to allow installation of cap flashing 5.Masonry repair and replacement 6. Install new flashing and counter flashing at walls, parapet, and roof penetrations 7. Install new guard rails 8. Remove and replace hollow metal doors and frames with fire rated hollow metal doors and frames. Modify thresholds and opening as required to accommodate roofing system sloped to drain. 9. Miscellaneous temporary removal and reinstallation of roof mounted equipment as required.
