As the Main Construction Manager for the Faro Mine Complex, Parsons Inc., is requesting proposals for the construction of low permeability zone (LPZ) across the Faro Pit East Access Road at the Faro Mine Complex in Faro, Yukon. Construction of LPZ includes production of aggregate materials, excavation of a Key Trench, preparation of slot cuts in the bedrock abutments, and a zoned earth fill seepage barrier within the regraded East Access Road alignment. On either side of the LPZ, the East Access Road will be regraded using Bulk Waste Rock Fill and ensure year-round access to Faro Pit. In addition, vibrating wire piezometers will be installed at selected elevations at the upstream, centerline and downstream of the LPZ.
