Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Jacksonville, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

GENERAL SCOPE OF WORK: The Jacksonville Port Authority (JAXPORT) seeks a Contractor to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, incidentals, and supervision necessary to include an addition of a new southbound lane along Dave Rawls Blvd within the footprint of an existing median at Blount Island Marine Terminal (BIMT). Other work items include, but are not limited to, surveying, testing, demolition, clearing and grubbing all stumps, milling and resurfacing existing roadway, striping of lanes and construction of new concrete curb, gutter, and infill per the contract specifications and contract drawings of this ITB. The mandatory SEB Participation Goal established for this project is 100% SEB Set-Aside (JSEB/MBE/WBE/DBE/SBA). All bids must be submitted in accordance with specifications and drawings for Contract No. C-2044A. Bid and contract bonds are required. Question Deadline 03/28/2025 at 4:00 PM ET Questions related to this contract are due. Submit Questions by e-mail ONLY to jerrie.gunder@jaxport.com or through electronically. Questions will then be released by e-mail via an Addendum to all known prospective bidders and posted online. The Contractor shall totally and finally complete the Work within 100 calendar days from Notice to Proceed date. Project work shall be inclusive of, yet not limited to, all labor, materials, equipment, incidentals, testing and supervision necessary to improve the mobility of trucks entering Blount Island Marine Terminal. During peak hours an additional lane will provide queue length for incoming trucks. The project includes an addition of a new southbound lane along Dave Rawls Blvd within the footprint of an existing median. The northern end of the new lan of new lane that eventually ties into an existing turning lane. Other work items include, but are not limited to, surveying, testing, demolition, clearing and grubbing all stumps within the Dave Rawls median (trees cleared and stumps ground by others), milling and resurfacing existing roadway (FC-12.5, 1- striping of lanes (refer to project drawings for limits of work) and construction of new concrete curb, gutter, and infill.
