Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Ord, Nebraska. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; for the construction of a transportation facility; transportation facility; and transportation facility.
**As of June,9 2025, the project was awarded to Rathman & Manning Construction, with an awarded amount of $934,227** Furnishing all labor, materials and equipment and performing all work necessary to: Construct Box Hangar (80' x 90') and Approach. In general, this work will require the following approximate quantities: Unclassified Excavation (451 CY); Borrow Excavation (8902 CY); 6" Crushed Aggregate Base Course (412 SY); 6" Concrete Pavement (400 SY); 3/c #4 600 V Cables (244 LF); Non-Encased Electrical Conduit (224 LF); Box Hangar (80' x 90'); Seeding, Bonded Fiber Matric No prebid meeting. Questions regarding bids shall be directed to Curt Christianson, P.E 402.560.7567. The Construction shall begin in the summer or fall of 2025, if an FAA grant is issued by July 1, 2025. If the FAA grant is delayed, a 2026 start will be acceptable, at the contractor's option. The date of the Notice to Proceed shall take into consideration material delivery schedules and the contractor's other commitments, while meeting the Owner's needs and ensuring that the project is completed by October 31, 2025 (2025 start) or August 30, 2026 (2026 start).
