Drawings and general provisions of the Contract, including General and Supplementary Conditions and other Division-1 Specifications included herein, apply to this Contract. 1. The Work includes marine demolition and debris removal in the water, dredging of the previously installed sand cap area, and installation of a marine mattresses to serve as an erosion protection layer. 2. Taking info full consideration the sequence of construction, the Contractor shall submit to the Port a preliminary work plan for Port's cursory review. Contractor shall make proper allowances in the schedule to complete the work within the allotted time, including incidental work not shown on the Plans as part of the scope of work. The final work plan is based on Contractor's means and methods. Time Allowed for Completion: 365 consecutive calendar days Liquidated Damages: Varies, refer to Section 00 73 02 for details Contract Monitoring Division Local Business Enterprise (LBE) Subcontracting Requirement: LBE = 5% The LBE subcontracting requirement is 5% and can only be met with San Francisco CMD-Certified Small and/or Micro-LBEs. The LBE subcontracting requirement is less than 20% due to the nature of work which include marine dredging, transport and disposal of marine debris by barge, remediation and stabilization of bay floor in the dredged area. 2.00% MBE; 1.00% WBE; 2.00% OBE; Bid security in the form of a corporate surety bond or an irrevocable letter of credit (or certified check if required bid security is $15,000 or less) for ten percent (10%) of the amount bid must accompany each bid.
