Renovation of an educational facility in Pleasanton, California. Working plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
**As of June 24, 2025, the project is on hold. No definite date for the rebid.** The Pleasanton Unified School District (PUSD/ "District") is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to implement campus wide interior LED lighting retrofits at Hart Middle and Pleasanton Middle Schools. The District has conducted walkthrough lighting audits, from which relevant information is provided to the bidders for reference and used to estimate the scope of work. The scope of work includes approximately 3,500 fixtures, which are predominantly linear fluorescent T8 to LED retrofits along with a small portion of high bay and downlight retrofits. It is expected that the installer will use design-build process to complete the lighting upgrades, including the contractor's own lighting survey to confirm detailed locations, fixture counts, type sand applicability of retrofit strategies. Each Submittal must conform and be responsive to the requirements set forth in this RFQ/P. District reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in received Submittals. Further, District reserves the right to reject any and all Submittals and to negotiate contract terms with one or more Respondents for one or more of the work items. District retains the sole discretion to determine issues of compliance and to determine whether a Respondent is responsive, responsible, and qualified. District will not consider or accept any proposals from contractors or their subcontractors who do not possess all appropriate and required licenses or other permits to perform the work identified in the Contract Documents. The Proposer's B or C-10 license(s) must remain active and in good standing throughout the term of the Contract. In advance of proposal submissions, questions may be submitted by email to the Purchasing Department purchasing@pteasantonusd.net before 2:00 p.m. on April 14, 2025. Answers will be posted on the District website by 5:00 p.m. on April 17, 2025.
