SCOPE OF SERVICES 5.1. Bike Shelter Specifications The City of Cambridge's Community Development Department is seeking bids for three Bike Shelters with the following specifications. Specifications Supply one (1) shelter with dimensions of 360" x 96" (or within 6") Supply two (2) shelters with dimensions of 181" x 91" (or within 6") Shelters shall be heavy gauge galvanized steel/aluminum with powder coat finish in a choice of primary colors, including black. Shelters shall have three sides of tempered safety glass with a gap of 6-12" from the bottom of the walls to the ground. Shelters shall be surface mount and include hardware that is designed to safely keep the shelter secured in storm level winds. Shelters shall be designed and engineered by manufacturer to withstand snow and wind loads found in the northeast US. The larger shelter 360" x 96' shall have a maximum of 2 support poles on the open side. All shelters shall have a single, sloped roof of at least 3-4 degrees made of safety glass, and pitched toward the rear, glassed side, of the shelter. Shelters shall come with complete assembly instructions and all necessary hardware. All shipping charges, including delivery off the truck and into a city specified storage area shall be included. No tax should be included as part of the bid. A warranty of at least 2 years for manufacturer's defects and materials shall be included.
