License Requirements A or C-12 Question Deadline 04/03/2025 at 4:00 PM PT Online Q&A Yes The work to be performed consists, in general, of constructing concrete curb and gutter, sidewalk, cross drain, and curb ramps, paving hot mix asphalt, cold planing asphalt concrete, installing survey monument encasements, inductive loop detectors, and roadside signs, relocating roadside signs, salvaging roadside signs, reconstructing fences, removing thermoplastic pavement markings and painted traffic stripes, and painting thermoplastic pavement markings and thermoplastic traffic stripes. The County reserves the right to reject any and all bids. If the contract is to be awarded, it will be awarded by the Board of Supervisors to the lowest responsible bidder whose bid complies with all prescribed requirements. The successful bidder must furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond each in the amount of 100% of the contract price and on the County's form. Pursuant to Public Contract Code Section 22300, the substitution of securities for money withheld by Kern County to ensure performance of the contract will be permitted. All documents submitted in compliance with the requirements of this bid package and the contract must be scannable and photocopiable.
