2025 Resurfacing Projects This project consists of: Resurfacing, minor base repairs and new road/parking area construction for Elberta High School, Robertsdale High School, Elsanor Elementary School and Spanish Fort High School-Hill. Work items include 1,790 tons of Asphalt Wearing Surface, 250 tons of Asphalt Binder Surface, 300 tons of Asphalt leveling, 2,890 square yards of Crushed Aggregate Base, 1,800 square yards of milling, parking striping, Storm Pipe Installation, and Grading/Sodding of shoulders. A total of Seventy (70) calendar days will be allowed for completion of work. To be eligible for consideration, bids must be submitted on complete original proposal forms found in the Invitation to Bid package. The specifications and all executed bid forms must be submitted in a sealed envelope, clearly marked, identifying the Contractor's license number, the Contractor's name and address, the Baldwin County Board of Education's name and address, the bid name and number, and the date of the bid opening. It shall be the sole responsibility of the bidder to assure receipt of the bid at Baldwin County Board of Education prior to the published time for the bid opening. The envelopes must also be "Date and Time" stamped at the receptionist's desk when the bid packages are turned in. All Bidders must file with their bids either a cashier's check drawn on an Alabama bank or a bid bond executed by a surety company duly authorized and qualified to make bonds in the State of Alabama and made payable to the Baldwin County Board of Education in the amount of five (5%) percent of the Contractor's bid but in no event more than $10,000 and shall have a current State of Alabama General Contractors License. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
