Site work for a water / sewer project in Winfield, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
DuPage County ("County") is seeking a Contractor to assist the County in constructing a stream restoration project at Winfield Creek. The proposed work shall include streambank stabilization with regrading banks and installing rock toe, placement of riffles, creation of bioswales at existing storm sewer outfalls, conversion of turf grass to a native filter strip, vegetative enhancement of wetland areas adjacent to the stream, and associated restoration. The work also includes Ecological Management at the site for a five (5) year period. ALL PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS/RESPONDENTS ARE HEREBY CAUTIONED NOT TO CONTACT ANY MEMBER OF THE DUPAGE COUNTY STAFF OR OFFICIALS OTHER THAN THE BID COORDINATOR OR SPECIFIED CONTACT PERSON(S)SHOWN HEREIN. FAILURE TO ABIDE BY THIS REQUIREMENT MAY RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION OF PROPOSAL. We wish to encourage your continued participation in DuPage County's procurement process, as this will continue to ensure the County taxpayers that they are receiving the maximum value for their tax dollars. The County of DuPage reserves the right to reject any or all bids received and waive any and all technicalities.
