Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Two Rivers, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

This project will consist of pulverizing the existing pavement, grading and gravelling new parking areas, asphalt paving of the existing roadway, along with existing and proposed parking areas, restoration, and other necessary work to resurface Pierce Street from Zlatnik Drive to 21st Street. Estimated major quantities are: Pulverize Roadway Base Aggregate Fine Grade Existing Parking Areas Grade and Gravel New Parking Areas Site Restoration 2.000 SY 650 760 SY 1,250 SY 1,000 SY BIDS All bids shall be presented in a sealed envelope addressed to Mr. Matthew Heckenlaible, Director of Public Works, City of Two Rivers and plainly marked "5-2025: Pierce Street Asphalt Paving". The name of the bidder shall appear on the outside of the envelope. All bids shall be on the bid proposal form furnished by the City and accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to at least 5% of the bid payable to the City of Two Rivers, as a guarantee that, if his bid is accepted, he will execute and file the proper contract, performance and payment bonds and certificate of insurance within the time limited by the City. If the successful bidder so files the required contract documents, upon the execution of the contract with the City, the check or bond shall be returned. In case the successful bidder fails to file the required contract documents, the amount of the certified check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the City as liquidated damages. The performance bond must be furnished in the full amount of the contract. Any alteration or extension of the bid form or furnishing on it of unsolicited information may cause the bid to be declared informal and result in the bid being rejected. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of forty-five (45) days after the scheduled time of opening bids The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in bidding and/or accept the bid deemed most advantageous to the City.
