Demolition and site work for a mixed-use development in Palomar Mountain, California. Completed plans call for the demolition of a swimming pool; for site work for a swimming pool; and water / sewer project.
The project includes the demolition of existing pool, pump house, concrete flatwork, fencing and underground utilities. Project Estimate: $110,000 - 120,000 Question Deadline 04/02/2025 at 4:00 PM PT All Questions and Requests for Clarification will only be accepted in writing via e-mail to ATTN: Eric Berg, Authority Project Manager, eric.berg@sdcoe.net and must be received Bids must be submitted on the Bid form provided by the SDCOE and included in the bid documents. Each bid must strictly conform with and be responsive to this Notice Calling for Bids, the Information for Bidders, and other Contract Documents. SDCOE reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any irregularities or informalities in any bids or in the bidding. Except as provided in Public Contract Code Section 5100 et seq. no bidder may withdraw a bid for a period of sixty (60) calendar days after the opening of the bids. Each bidder shall be registered as a public works contractor with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to the Labor Code. The bidders registration must remain active throughout the term of the contract. Each bid shall be submitted on the bid form provided in the bid documents. Each bid shall be accompanied by a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the bidder and Surety Company, or certified check, or cashiers check in favor of the San Diego County Superintendent of Schools, or cash, in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid. Said Bid Bond shall be given to guarantee that the bidder will execute the Contract as specified. In contracts involving expenditure in excess of $25,000.00, Civil Code section 3247(a), the successful bidder shall file a payment bond issued by an admitted Surety approved to conduct business in the State of California approved by San Diego County Superintendent of Schools in the form set forth in the contract documents. The successful bidder will be required to provide both a performance bond and a separate payment bond, each in an amount equal to 100% of the total contract amount. The forms of the bonds are set forth in the Contract Documents and all bonds must be issued by a California admitted surety as defined in California Code of Civil Procedure Section 995.120. The class of California contractor's license(s) required in order to bid on and perform the contract for this Project is: "A" or "B" *Addendum 1 has been released. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
