Cutting schedules must maintain a grass height between 50-70mm. All litter, stones and debris are to be removed from lawns Build-up of grass clippings affecting appearance or health of lawn are to be removed. All areas must be trimmed at each cutting, (i.e., curbs, trees, shrub and flower beds and along building and fences Identify any problem sprinkler system components to Miramichi Lodge during cutting. Roll lawn in spring as required Two references from institutional or commercial applications are required. Site visit and tour of the property is mandatory for bid. FLOWER AND SHRUB BED MAINTENANCE All flower and shrub beds are to be cleaned and have any debris removed All flower and shrub beds are to be maintained weed and insect free and fertilized and watered to maintain health of plants. Submit fertilization schedule and product list All shrubs are to be trimmed to appropriate heights to allow residents to see over them when sitting in their rooms Ensure trees, shrubs and flowerbed plant materials are maintained and pruned using horticulturally acceptable practices. Provide recommended schedule. Fertilize trees, shrubs and flowerbed materials using horticulturally accepted practices and application rates. Provide recommended schedule. Spray trees, shrubs and plants as needed to combat pests using products approved by Agriculture Canada. Provide application of rodent repellent and guards as needed. All flower and shrub beds are to be cleaned up at the end of the season. Identify any sprinkler system components to Miramichi Lodge during maintenance. Site visit and tour is mandatory for bid. Two references from institutional or commercial applications are required. FLOWER PLANTING Planting annuals to supplement perennial beds. Consider shade/sun situation in plant selection Submit the complete listing of plants to be utilized Flower planting will be considered "in addition to the contract" and will be awarded on an as required allowance.
