* Tender was awarded to Carnoustie Operating at $64,646.75. 50cmThis project affects the Rocanville School, Rocanville Aquatic Centre, Nutrien Community Hall, Rocanville Rec Centre, and Noble Construction Rocanville Skating Rink. Bidder will ahve to make accommodations for these facilities. General Scope *Curb contractor will sawcut entire length of old curb, approximately 136m *Earthworks contractor (Contractor) will remove old curbing and excavate to a depth 50cm below final grade. Total area 4,265 sqm *Contractor must allow for Town of Rocanville to test the sub soil to see if extra excavation and back fill is required *Extra excavation and backfill are to be billed at a rate specified in bid *Contractor will supply and compact 30cm subbase. Subbase to be installed in two 15cm lifts with testing done by Town of Rocanville after each lift. *The second lift must accommodate Curb contractor, which may involve leaving a width of at least 2m along curb until a later date *Due to timing issues, after the subbase is installed it will almost certainly be driven on. Bid to include returning to site and providing two more days of touch up compacting. *Final elevation of subbase to be within 2.5cm of plan Additional Information: Lowest or any bid not necessarily accepted If bid deviates from supplied specifications, those deviations must be clearly noted.
