The work includes providing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment and other means of construction necessary and incidental to the completion of the work as described in these specifications including, but not necessarily limited to the following: _ On-call restriping of various City of Albany roadways This on-call agreement shall remain in effect for 2 years, through December 31, 2026. The City reserves the right to extend the Agreement for this contract for two (2) additional two-year (2) periods at which time the contractor and the City may negotiate updated unit prices. Bidders shall note that the quantities specified in the Bid Summary sheets reflect a total of 5 sample assignments for bidding purposes only. Bidders shall provide unit prices that will be utilized for the duration of the contract and payments will be made on actual quantities utilized. Locations of roadways to be restriped will be provided by the City to the lowest responsible qualified eligible bidder throughout the length of the agreement. Each time a Contractor is provided a different iassignmenti or icall-outi in the City (may be one or more streets within the assignment), the bidder will be paid one instance of the fixed-price for WZTC (Item AL619.01) and for Mobilization (Item AL699.040001). Contractor shall be available to start work within 72 hours of being notified from the City of striping work to be performed. No questions or inquiries regarding this bid will be accepted within five (5) business days prior to the bid opening. Bid documents info : Checks shall be made payable to the City of Albany. Copies of bid documents may also be obtained online by visiting the online website. All bids must be made on the official Bid Form or an exact copy by reproduction thereof and enclosed in a sealed envelope. This is a unit price bid as described in the Instructions To Bidders. No Bidder may withdraw his bid within forty five calendar days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of five percent of the base bid in accordance with the Instructions To Bidders. If a bid deposit is not submitted with the bid, the bid may be deemed incomplete and may not be considered. All bids must be accompanied by a City of Albany Minority Participation Plan. If the Minority Participation documents are not submitted with the bid, the bid may be deemed incomplete and may not be considered. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish construction performance and payment bonds in the full amount of the contract price.
