sealed bids for a five year contract for solid waste collection and disposal services for the residents of the Township of New Hanover, commencing on July 1, 2025 and terminating on June 30, 2029. Please include in the request, Company Name, Person requesting the bid,email address and phone numbers. Bidder is solely responsible for the timely delivery of the bid proposal, and no bids shall be considered which are presented after the public call for receiving bids. Bidders shall submit one (1) original of the bid addressed to the Township Clerk, Township of New Hanover, Burlington County, New Jersey and enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder and marked plainly on the outside of the envelope "Bid for Solid Waste Collection and Disposal Services." Each bid proposal must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or a bid bond in the amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount bid (but not more than $20,000) to guarantee that the bidder to whom a contract may be awarded will execute the contract and furnish the required performance bond. The successful bidder shall be required to furnish a Performance Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the annual value of the contract to cover all provisions on the specifications. The Township Committee reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any immaterial defect or informality in a bid or to accept a bid which, in its judgment and discretion, best serves the interest of the Township.
