The City of McGehee will receive sealed bids on a General Contract to rehabilitate the existing beacon and replacing the existing direct-bury, incandescent runway lighting system with anew can and conduit, LED lighting system at McGehee Municipal Airport. Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE). As defined by Appendix A of 49 CFR Part 26,Regulations of the Office of the Secretary of Transportation, all bidders shall make good faith efforts, to subcontract a minimum of one and fifty-seven hundredthspercent (1.57%) of the dollar value of the prime contract to small business concerns owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals (DBE). Bid Security. A 5% Bid Security is required with the Bid. The Owner reserves the right to reject bids and waive formalities. Work will be completed within 44 calendar days from Notice to Proceed.
