Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

The scope of work for Contract includes the cleaning, crack sealing, installation of new acrylic Sportmaster Coating, painting of court lines, and installation of new court equipment for the basketball courts at Kotecki Park and Burrell Lake Park; installation of a new walking trail behind the outfield fence of the two baseball fields at Kotecki Memorial park and all necessary appurtenances and restoration for said construction. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any informalities in the bidding. No bid may be withdrawn for ninety (90) calendar days after the scheduled time for receipt of bids. The City shall (a) award the construction contract to the lowest responsible bidder therefore, or (b) reject all bids received within ninety (90) days of the date of bid opening; provided, however, that the City may, in its sole discretion, delay such award or rejection for up to one hundred twenty (120) days from the bid opening date until the City has received all required approvals from other governmental agencies. The bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, made payable to the City of Lower Burrell to guarantee the bidder's entrance into the contract if given the award. No bid bond shall be waived or returned because the Bidder has failed to or cannot comply with any requirements as set forth in the plans, specifications, or any applicable statutes of the State of Pennsylvania or any applicable municipal ordinances.
