Centennial Aquatic Center Pool Deck Caulking Project The Owner has determined that the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act applies to this work and therefore Contractor shall comply with the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act and shall pay, and require every Subcontractor to pay, the prevailing rates of wages as established by the Illinois Department of Labor for each craft or type of work needed to execute the contract in accordance with 820 ILCS 130/.01 et seq. Begin Construction: Option 1: April 23, 2025 Option 2: September 2, 2025 Substantial Completion Deadline: Option 1: On or before May 9, 2025 Option 2: On or before September 30, 2025 No bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check is needed for this bid. Bonds: Should the Contract Sum equal or exceed $150,000.00, then Performance Bonds and Labor and Material Payment Bonds for 100% of the contract amount shall be submitted to the Park District by the successful bidder within ten (10) days after acceptance of bid. The Contractor is advised that the Department revises the prevailing wage rates and the Contractor/subcontractor has an obligation to check the Department's web site for revisions to prevailing wage rates The successful bidder shall also comply with all laws, statutes, regulations, ordinances, rulings, or enactments of any governmental authority which are applicable to the work. Contractor is responsible for all measurements, compliance with all specifications and contract terms, and to inspect the site to verify the scope of the work to be bid.
