Services shall include Pick-up of the seat bottoms from the TCA facility Remove and replace the existing leather material with new leather material that meets specifications Replace the old foam padding under the leather with new, high-density foam that is 6 1/2 " thick. Ensure that all materials used are durable and suitable for high-traffic public seating, meeting all necessary fire safety and durability standards. Ensure that the completed seat bottom is completed in a quality manner and that the finished product is completed with a high degree of skilled workmanship and is without flaws or blemishes. Return the completed seat cushion to the TCA with the appropriate protective covering/packaging to prevent damage during transit and unloading. Minimum of 2-year warranty on materials and workmanship. The City of Tempe (City) is seeking proposals from qualified firms to re-upholster the seating in the Main Theater at the Tempe Center for the Arts (TCA), located at 700 W. Rio Salado Parkway in Tempe, Arizona. The firm selected will be responsible for replacing the upholstery on 602 seats in total, specifically focusing on the seat bottoms only. TCA staff will be responsible for removing the existing seat bottoms and re-installing the completed seat bottoms. Awarded firm will be responsible for pick-up and return of seat bottoms to the TCA.
