This contract consists of adding HMA pavement sections to widen the shoulders of existing asphalt roadways at the intersection 63rd Ave NE, a public street owned by the City of Arlington, and PUD's private access road to Crosswind Substation. The purpose of the project is to provide a widened turning radius to accommodate heavy-haul vehicles delivering oversized loads to Crosswind Substation from southbound 63rd Ave NE. Note: 63rd Ave NE is a public street but is not currently open to traffic. It is gated at both ends and traffic is limited to PUD-employees and visitors. SWR Bidder Restrictions: Bidders must be on The Districts Small Works Roster for the category of General Construction prior to bidding on this project. All requests for clarification or additional information regarding this RFP must be submitted to the District via e-mail to bids@snopud.com.
