Site work and paving for a road / highway in Arlington, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
This contract consists of adding HMA pavement sections to widen the shoulders of existing asphalt roadways at the intersection 63rd Ave NE, a public street owned by the City of Arlington, and PUD's private access road to Crosswind Substation. The purpose of the project is to provide a widened turning radius to accommodate heavy-haul vehicles delivering oversized loads to Crosswind Substation from southbound 63rd Ave NE. Note: 63rd Ave NE is a public street but is not currently open to traffic. It is gated at both ends and traffic is limited to PUD-employees and visitors. SWR Bidder Restrictions: Bidders must be on The Districts Small Works Roster for the category of General Construction prior to bidding on this project.
