PHASE 1 A 1,155 square yard PCC apron expansion will be constructed to fill in the area between the parallel taxiway and the existing apron. The duration is 20 working days. PHASE 2 A 1,805 square yard PCC apron expansion will be constructed to the south of the existing apron. Taxiway lights will be removed during this phase, and a trench drain will be installed along the existing apron to collect water on this apron. Pavement markings and tie downs will complete the project. The duration is 20 working days. Site Directions: Harlan Municipal Airport is 3 miles SW of Harlan. This fee is REFUNDABLE, provided the following conditions are met: 1) The plans and specifications are returned to Kirkham Michael complete and in good usable condition and 2) they are returned to the above address within fourteen (14) calendar days after the award of the project. This project is subject to the requirements of the Davis-Bacon Act, as amended. The Contractor is required to comply with wage and labor provisions and to pay minimum wages in accordance with the schedule of wage rates established by the United States Department of Labor. This project is subject to the requirements of 49 CFR Part 26 Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Participation. The owner has established a contract goal of 3.58% participation for small business concerns owned and controlled by qualified Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE). The bidder shall make and document good faith efforts, as defined in Appendix A of 49 CFR Part 26, to meet the established goal.
