Expected contract duration without options (in months): 30. The objective of the project is to renovate the interior and exterior of the 8 youth accommodation pavilions located on the site of the rehabilitation centre for young people with adaptation difficulties Mont Saint-Antoine, 8147 rue Sherbrooke est, Montreal H1L 1A7. A construction contract is already in progress to complete the work on: replacement of roofs, partial masonry and windows and renovation of the bathrooms on the first floor as well as replacement of the sanitary and storm drainage network and also renovation of kitchens. Currently, Building 3 is under construction and is excluded from this monitoring mandate. We are requesting an architectural firm and an engineering firm to monitor the remaining work in accordance with the plans and specifications that will be provided by CIUSSS CCSMTL, while ensuring that the initial direction of the project is maintained. The selected firm of architects will cover the supervision of all interior and exterior works. While the engineering firm will take care of the mechanical, electrical and structural aspects. Scope of mandate The mandate of each Service Provider is to carry out the following work: Scope of mandate The mandate of each Service Provider is to carry out the following work: - Knowledge of the contents of the current project plans and specifications, as well as any documentation produced and approved since the start of the engagement of the current contractor; - Monitoring the progress of the work site and organizing periodic visits to ensure the smooth running of the works (including deficiency visits and provisional acceptance and unqualified visits); - Drafting of minutes for construction meetings (architecture only); - Project coordination in collaboration with other professionals: - Processing and preparing change directives and change orders (ODC to be prepared by the architect only); - Verification of shop drawings pending approval (majority already approved); - Advise the owner on technical problems encountered during construction, requiring special attention, with or without site visit; Verification of material substitutions and recommendations to the owner; - Verification of payment requests; - Issuance of certificates to recommend progressive payments as well as final payment, including the issuance of completion and completion certificates (architect only); - Verification of the end-of-work documents provided by the contractor; - Preparation of final plans from contractor provided "TQC" implementation statements. - If you require the Quality Assessment Questionnaire in WORD format, please let me know by email.
