The project is awarded to Dandrea Construction with the awarded amount of $1,846,000 Bidders must be pre-qualified by the New Jersey Schools Development Authority ("NJSDA") as stated in the Contract Documents, prior to the date bids are received. The Bid must contain a Bid Security in the amount of ten (10%) percent of the Bid Price, not to exceed Twenty Thousand ($20,000.00) Dollars, and Consent of surety, each in the form and manner required by the Contract Documents. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids and/or to waive any informality in the bidding, as permitted by law, if it is in the interest of the Board to do so. When it is in its best interest to do so and to the maximum extent of its discretion under applicable law, the Board may award the Contract in whole or in part, select any combination of Bids and alternates, may waive any informalities, and may reject any or all Bids. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project. Partial demolition of an existing mezzanine space and subdivision of the existing CAD & FAB Lab suite to provide two new enclosed lecture spaces, an enclosed office space, and also open spaces for research and development and fabrication. 2. Includes new partitions and doors, aluminum framed and glazed storefront assemblies and entrances, all new interior finishes and lighting throughout, as well as mechanical, electrical and plumbing upgrades and equipment devices, systems and services to same. 3. Includes new hydraulic chain driven vertical wheelchair lift. 4. See Alternates associated with new finishes at the existing FAB Lab B100 suite and adjacent CAD Lab B109 classroom. 5.
