The project consists of the following approximate quantities:499,000 SY Seal Coat441,000 LF 4 Pavement MarkingLineTraffic Control and all miscellaneous worknecessary therefor and incidental thereto The bid shall be accompaniedby a Bidders Bond submitted electronically in the amount of five percent (5%) of the full amount of the bid, executedby the Bidder as Principal and by a SuretyCompany authorized to do business in NorthDakota. If the Principals bid is accepted bySteele County and the contract awarded, theprincipal, within ten (10) days after the Noticeof Award, will be required to execute and effect a contract in accordance with the terms ofthe principals bid and any requirements andconditions of the Owner. A Contractors Bond, as required by Section4801.2-10 of the North Dakota Century Code,shall be included with the executed ContractDocuments. The Bid Security shall be as required in Section 4801.2-05 of the North Dakota CenturyCode.All bidders must be licensed for the highestamount of their bids, as required by Section430707 of the North Dakota Century Codeand a copy of the license or certificate of renewal thereof issued shall be enclosed in therequired bid bond envelope.No bid will be read or considered which doesnot fully comply with the above provisions asto Bond and Licenses, and any deficient bidsubmitted will not be accepted and opened. The OWNER retains the right to reject any orall of the bids submitted and to waive any informality in any bid and to hold all bids for aperiod not to exceed thirty (30) days from saiddate of opening and to hold the three low bidsand bid securities for a period not to exceedsixty (60) days from said date of bid opening. The work is to commence upon a date to bespecified by the OWNER, notice of which willbe given to the successful bidder ten (10) daysin advance of the start of construction. TheContractor will be required to commenceconstruction and substantially completeall of the work for the project by September 15, 2025. This project consists of the following: Bituminous Seal Coat of Steele County Road 11 from ND 200 to the end of Pavement. County Road 18 from ND 32 to the end of Pavement. County Road 25 from the edge of Steele County Border, 12th Street SE to ND 200 as shown in the Advertisement. This project includes bituminous seal coat, pavement markings and incidentals that come with Seal Coat Construction.
