Renovation of a water / sewer project in Toronto, Ontario. Design plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The City of Toronto intends to retain a qualified Engineering Consultant ('Supplier') to provide engineering services for preliminary design, detailed design, permits and approval coordination, guaranteed maximum price assessment and or tendering assistance, construction services including contract administration and post-construction/warranty for the HTP North Plant Secondary Treatment System Upgrades (the 'Project'). Alterations to wastewater processes in an existing treatment plant. Scope of work includes upgrades to the Aeration Header; refurbishment of the North Secondary Tank Gallery Floor Drains; upgrades to the North Plant Ferrous Chloride system; rehabilitation of the North Secondary Tank Galleries (RPU's and RTU's); refurbishment of Aeration Tanks 7 and 8; and upgrade to the existing final clarifiers. TIMELINE: As of August 14, 2025, the Request for Proposals for engineering services to complete designs has been awarded by the owner. Designs are underway. Funding is available in the 2025 Capital Budget and 2026-2034 Capital Plan for Toronto.
