Keene Independent School District (ISD) is seeking proposals for the design, supply, installation, and maintenance of an Access Control System (ACS) across various district locations. The purpose of this RFP is to solicit bids from qualified vendors to provide a secure and scalable access control system for enhancing the safety and security of students, staff, and visitors. This system will include the installation of hardware and software components, integration with existing security systems, training, and ongoing maintenance support. Proposals should include detailed information on the proposed system, timeline, and costs. The system will consist of the following key components: - Access Control Panels: For managing the access points at 55 doors located across district facilities. - Card Readers or Biometric Readers: Access mechanisms for doors to be operated by district-issued credentials (keycards, fobs, biometrics, etc.). - Credential Management System: Software for managing user credentials, access permissions, and reports. - Door Hardware: Electrified locks, magnetic locks, and hardware to support access control. - Integration: System integration with current video surveillance and alarm monitoring systems. - Reporting: Real-time activity logging, reports on access attempts, and system diagnostics. - Emergency Exit and Lockdown Features: Integration for emergency exits that comply with state and local regulations and restricted access during emergency situations. - ADA Compliance: Doors currently equipped with ADA features must be functional at project completion. - Maintenance & Support: Ongoing service and maintenance contracts for troubleshooting, system upgrades, and hardware replacement as needed. - Continued Maintenance: We will need a breakdown of expected ongoing costs for subscriptions and/or licenses.
