Site work for a water / sewer project in Humble, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

This project involves rehabilitation of four (4) lift stations; Lift Station No. 1 (19835 Kenswick Dr., Humble, Texas), Lift Station No. 4 (19829 Kenswick Dr., Humble, Texas), Lift Station No. 5 (7716 1/2 Kenswick Forest, Humble, Texas), and Lift Station No. 6 (20250 1/2 Deerbrook Park Blvd., Humble, Texas). The estimate for this project is $1,573,000, which includes $422,000 for the supplementary bid items. The scope of work for Lift Station No. 1 includes, but is not limited to, cleaning and degritting the wet well, removing existing wet well coating, surface preparation, application of cementitious repair mortar to damaged areas, and applying 100% solids epoxy coating to the entire interior of the wet well including the floor and underside of the top slab; removing and replacing all valves on the discharge piping and applying protective coatings to the new valves; blasting and applying protective coatings to the discharge piping, fittings, and wet well vent piping; installing a new meter disconnect switch, utility meter, utility service disconnect switch, surge protection device, and conduit supports; replacing the transfer switch and generator receptacle; replacing the control panel; replacing the floats and Pump Nos. 1 & 2 terminal boxes; and installing kellem grip supports on all cables in the wet well. Additionally, installation, rental, and operation of a temporary bypass pumping system for up to one month during construction activities. The scope of work for Lift Station No. 4 includes, but is not limited to, cleaning and degritting Wet Well No. 1, removing existing wet well coatings, surface preparation, application of cementitious repair mortar to damaged areas, and applying 100% solids epoxy coating to the entire interior of the wet well including the floor and underside of the top slab; cleaning and degritting the Wet Well No. 2; inspecting and pressure washing the T-Lock liner; installing rigid fall protection at Wet Well No. 2; blasting and recoating Wet Well No. 2's riser piping and all wet well vent piping; replacing the control panel; replacing the terminal boxes for the float, transducer, and all pumps. Additionally, installation, rental, and operation of a temporary bypass pumping system for up to two months during construction activities. The scope of work for Lift Station No. 5 includes, but is not limited to, cleaning and degritting the wet well, inspecting and pressure washing the T-Lock liner; installing a rigid fall protection system at the wet well; removing and replacing the wet well riser piping, guide rails, and supports, and applying protective coatings to the riser piping; replacing all discharge piping, fittings, and valves, and applying protective coatings to the discharge piping; installing a new surge protection device, and replacing terminal boxes for the floats, transducer, and Pump Nos. 1 & 2. Additionally, installation, rental, and operation of a temporary bypass pumping system for up to two months during construction. The scope of work for Lift Station No. 6 includes, but is not limited to, cleaning and degritting the wet well, inspecting and pressure washing the T-Lock liner; installing a rigid fall protection system at the wet well, replacing the wet well riser piping, and applying protective coatings to the riser piping; blasting and recoating the discharge piping; installing kellem grip supports on all cables in the wet well; recoating the generator enclosure and fuel tank; and replacing corroded ground wire terminal for the generator. Additionally, installation, rental, and operation of a temporary bypass pumping system for up to two months during construction activities. The bidder shall submit either a 2% certified or cashier's check or a five percent (5%) bid bond of the maximum total bid amount. Make the cashier's check or bid bonds payable to the Owner. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any or all irregularities. Substantial Completion for all Base Bid items of work shall be achieved within no more than the time stated on the bid form. Final Completion shall be achieved within no more than 30 calendar days from date of Substantial Completion. Bidder must be capable of executing a satisfactory performance bond and payment bond for 100 percent (100%) of the contract sum in accord with the conditions of the contract
