Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Surry, New Hampshire. Completed plans call for site work for a municipal facility; for paving for a municipal facility; road / highway; road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The proposed improvements, hereinafter called the Work, is located at the City of Keene Recycling Center/ Transfer Station 55 Old Summit Road Surry, NH. work-- Excavation to include milling of asphalt surfaces or other removal of asphalt paving, uncovering utility structures, excavation of subgrade for construction of gravel courses, and removal ofunsuitable material. Reconstruction, replacement, or grade adjustment of utility surface structures, including sediment and erosion control, protection ofwork and maintaining road access through all phases ofthe project. Preparation and construction ofgravel base courses. Preparation and construction of asphalt pavement base, leveling, and wear courses. Placement and compaction ofshoulder or other gravel courses. Rehabilitate Keene Transfer Station pavement, lower area and access road. Estimated milling 3,700 Square Yards. 780 SY and 130 Tons patch. "Box-out" pavement extensions: 105 CY Excavation and 105 CY Crushed Gravel Base 11 structures to adjust to grade including 6 to replace (2 casting types). 260 Tons Leveling Course, 815 Tons 1/2" wearing mix. 40 CY shoulder gravel Traffic Control: Signage, flaggers, barriers & cones necessary to protect work & the public.
