Completed plans call for the construction of a 632-square-foot, one-story above grade playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

The project involves new and improved features to Yoakums City Park. These include concrete and decomposed granite trails, a new restroom facility, a new tennis/pickleball court, and renovations to the existing volleyball and basketball courts. Also, there is an additive alternate for stabilization of the decomposed granite trails, and deductive alternates for narrowing some of the trails to maximize the use of grant funds. Project has an expected duration of 180 days. The City of Yoakum, Texas, reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or to waive any informalities, or to make an award to other than the low bidder. It further reserves the right to limit the amount of the award. Attention of the bidders is particularly directed to the requirements of the conditions of employment to be observed and minimum Wage Rates to be paid under the Contract.
