The City intends to retain a vendor to perform professional and technical services to execute a turnkey project for the full conversion of an existing Gateway Sign with a neon lightning system to a retrofitted LED lighting system. The Scope of Services will be completed in two (2) phases as outlined below. Contractor will perform the work within a fixed budget and proposed timeline. All work will be performed at night or as to otherwise minimize vehicular and pedestrian traffic impacts. Prior to commencement, the Contractor shall submit a comprehensive fee sheet detailing costs for each potential maintenance item outlined in this scope of work for both phases. The Contractor shall, upon completion of the Phase 1 LED Conversion, provide a oneyear warranty on all workmanship associated with the work performed. This warranty shall commence immediately upon the date of completion of Phase 1 and shall cover all repairs or replacements necessary due to defects in workmanship identified within this period. The Contractor agrees to remedy any such deficiencies at no additional cost to the City, ensuring that all work meets the specified standards of quality and performance This is a prevailing wage contract and prevailing wage rates for this locality and project as determined by the Director of the DIR apply, pursuant to labor code section 1770, et. Seq. A copy of the prevailing wage rates shall be posted on the job site by Contractor. A schedule of prevailing wage rates is available for review at City’s offices or may be found on the internet a . Contractor shall be required to pay a least the wage rates set forth in that schedule. Certified Payroll records shall be maintained by Contractor and copies of the certified payroll shall be electronically sent to the DIR and be delivered to City at the end of each month during the entire duration of the project. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all responses and bids received in response to this RFB, to waive minor irregularities, to negotiate with any qualified source, or cancel in whole or in part this RFB if it is in the best interest of the City to do so, and to take all bids under advisement for a period of ninety (90) days.
