The Virginia Department of Transportation, herein referred to as "VDOT", an agency of the Commonwealth of Virginia, is soliciting bids from qualified Virginia Licensed, Class A or Class B Contractors with a Highway Heavy specialty, to provide incidental planned and unplanned highway maintenance work in various locations, on primary and secondary routes, located within the Lynchburg District Appomattox Residency, Amherst, Nelson, Appomattox, and Campbell Counties. PERIOD OF CONTRACT: From 5/4/2025 through one year (renewable) Any questions regarding this invitation for bid shall be addressed to Robert Dowdle at Robert.Dowdle@vdot.virginia.gov. The issuing office shall determine whether any addendum should be issued as a result of any questions or other matters raised. Provide questions no later than 5:00PM EDT on 3/27/2025.
