Bids will be received for the following Contract: Contract No. 1 - General Rehabilitation - Base Bid 1011 Irish Settlement Road Canton New York 13617 Scope of Work Items - Furnish and Install various rehabilitation materials and labor to include: New smoke & carbon monoxide detectors per Code, New Boiler, filtration system and Dirt Mag for In Floor Heating System, Four (4) Windows in front main Living Room, One (1) Storm Door & One (1) Exterior Door, One (1) Sliding Glass Door, Blown In Cellulose Insulation, Walk In Shower Unit in Shower Unit in Second Floor Bathroom, Kitchen Ceiling Drywall Repair & Finishing. ( No Radon, Asbestos nor Lead Based Paint per Paradigm Reports). The contractor will ensure that to the greatest extent feasible opportunities for training and employment arising in connection with this NYS CDBG-assisted project will be extended to lower-income project area residents. Further, the contractor will, to the greatest extent feasible, utilize business concerns located in or substantially owned by residents of the project area, in the award of contracts and purchase of services and supplies.
