The Township of The Archipelago is currently seeking the services of a Consulting Engineering firm with a qualified structural engineer to conduct and document the biennial structure inspections of Township structures, including bridges and specified culverts in accordance with the requirements of the Ontario Structure Inspection Manual and O. Reg. 104/97, including 2010 amendment O. Reg. 472/10. Blackstone Lake Road Bridge - 45.251941, -79.884917 Nearest intersection - Blackstone-Crane Lake Road and Blackstone Lake Road Skerryvore Road Culvert - 45.538892, -80.374097 Nearest intersection - Lagoon Drive and Skerryvore Community Road Kapikog Lake Road Culvert - 45.173294, -79.856840 Nearest Intersection - Kapikog Lake Road and Healey Lake Lodge Road Proposal submissions should include relevant information including: scope of work planned, key project team members and qualifications, methods and procedures, and, estimated fee, including disbursements. The completed report delivered to the Township should include a written summary providing available historical facts, condition rating, and any repair or rehabilitation recommendations with a timeline and cost estimate. The summary report should be sealed by a Professional Engineer. The report appendix should include all OSIM forms and images from the various structures. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
