**As of June 30, 2025 , This project has been awarded to ER Snell in the amount of $759,699.78.** There are seven (7) street projects per the contract. There will also be seven (7) more streets that are add alternates that WILL NOT be part of the contract. If budget allows they will be awarded accordingly to winning Bidder of the contract. Bids should be typed or submitted in ink and returned in a sealed envelope marked on the outside with the project identification bid number and Company Name. Questions regarding bids should be directed in writing to Melisa Arnold, City Clerk, at marnold@snellville.org or fax 770-985-3525, no later than 12:00 p.m. on April 23rd, 2025. All bidders must submit with the bid a bid bond, certified check or cashier's check in an amount not less than $5,000.00. The successful vendor will be required to meet insurance requirements, submit a performance bond and a payment and materials bond to the City in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price. Insurance and bonding companies must be licensed to do business by the Georgia Secretary of State, authorized to do business in Georgia by the Office of the Georgia Insurance Commissioner and must have an A.M. Best rating of A-6 or higher. The Bids shall remain valid for a period of 90 days from bid opening. The City reserves the right to waive any formality and any technicalities, and to reject any or all bids if it is deemed to be in the best interest of the City to do so.
