Each bid must be accompanied by a Certified or Cashier s Check, or a bid bond, in the amount of 10 percent of the total amount bid, made payable to the Village of North Baltimore, Ohio and the Ohio Department of Transportation as guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into with the Village within thirty (30) days and its performance secured by a performance bond in the amount of 100 percent of the contract price, and in default thereof, said check or bond will be forfeited to the Village of North Baltimore as liquidated damages.
