This project provides for removal of the micro-surface overlay of the Turnpike Northeast Extension travel lanes. And asphalt resurfacing of the travel lanes, which includes 2" milling and 2" paving with a Stone Matrix wearing course, plus an additional 2' width for Sonic Nap Alert Pattern application. The project also includes applying Highly Reflectorized Temporary Polyurea pavement markings, median and shoulder milling and paving with Superpave Asphalt wearing course. Also apply Permanent Preformed Patterned Reflective pavement markings. Maintenance and protection of Turnpike Traffic and a queue warning display system is also included. An electronic bid bond, from an approved vendor, with corporate surety, in the amount of five (5%) percent of the bid must be submitted with the proposal as bid security. The bid security of the three (3) low bidders will be retained until the execution of the contract. (The normal time for execution of the contract is approximately four [4] weeks.)
