Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Bloomfield, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility; for paving for a transportation facility; and water / sewer project.
The project includes taxiway pavement protection; crack and joint cleaning and filling; pavement removal; 1,130 L.F. of drainage pipe, trenched; 14 - SW-512 intakes; 1,295 S.Y. of PCC paving; finish grading and cleanup; and miscellaneous appurtenant work usually associated with a pavement rehabilitation in Bloomfield, Iowa. The work under the proposed Contract shall commence upon issuance of the written Notice to Proceed. The proposed pond removal improvements listed shall be fully completed on or before November 29, 2025. The Bidder agrees to pay as liquidated damages the sum of $300 for each consecutive calendar day after the specified completion date that the project is not fully completed. Davis-Bacon Act, as amended - 29 CFR Part 5: The Contractor is required to comply with wage and labor provisions and to pay minimum wages in accordance with the current schedule of wage rates established by the United States Department of Labor. Bid Security. Each bidder shall accompany its bid with bid security as defined in Section 26.8 of the Code of Iowa. Bid security shall be 10% of the bid amount. Goals for minority participation for each trade: 2.4% Goals for female participation in each trade: 6.9% PN - 3-19-0008-013
