The deadline for submitting questions on this bid is April 9, 2025 at 12:00p.m. Questions about this system can be directed to: City of Garland Procurement Department Project Overview The City of Garland is launching 'Art at Every Turn' Traffic Cabinet Art Wrap Program to bring public art into everyday spaces by transforming traffic signal cabinets into visually stunning artworks. These cabinets, often overlooked, are now an opportunity to reflect the culture, creativity, and uniqueness of Garland. Vinyl wraps not only beautify the area but also help deter vandalism and graffiti. For phase one of this project, we aim to wrap forty-nine (49) traffic cabinets with unique designs created by local artists. Vendor Responsibilities o Fabricate and install vinyl wrapping on specified traffic cabinets. o There may need to be some additional collaboration with the contracted artist who is providing the design. o The final product should match the rendering, both scale and placement, as provided by the artist. o Properly preparing cabinet surfaces before application (e.g. cleaning, removing residue) to ensure long-term adhesion. o Completing installation in a professional and timely manner. Performance Standards/ Acceptance Criteria o All wraps must be properly fabricated and installed to meet City standards. o Wraps will not be deemed complete until they have been inspected and approved by City staff. o All work must receive City approval before payment is processed. TS1 (custom sizing): o Ave. B-First (1ea): 30" W x 25.5"D x 49" H Backpack: 16" W x 16.25"D x 47.5" H Concrete Base o Barnes-Walnut (1ea): 30" W x 25.5"D x 49" H Concrete Base Timeline o We aim to have 15-23 traffic cabinets wrapped by May 16, 2025. o All remaining traffic cabinets must be completed by July 31, 2025. Line Items & Bid Pricing o Fabrication and installation rates of vinyl wraps. o Any additional rates needed for completing the project, i.e. site survey, etc. o Vendor must also provide separate line-item costs for each traffic cabinet location when billing, as there are multiple funding sources for this project.
