A firm timeline for construction has not been established. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: Reference Number 0000381559 Delivery Point; 1961 Delta Rd University Center, Michigan United States 48710 Bid Intent Not Available The Delta College Facilities Management Department is conducting a qualifications based selection process to retain Professional Architectural and Engineering firm(s) to provide design & construction services for a project referred to as "Delta College - A Wing Renovation". The proposed renovation will encompass the footprint of the existing Library Learning Information Commons (LLIC) and include a library, testing center, teaching and learning center, writing center, and student resource center. A new main entrance will be developed at the south end of the building with a new concourse connecting the entrance to the main corridor system and the adjoining spaces. To support Delta Colleges vision for removing barriers for students the new student resource center is the centerpiece of this renovation and will consolidate several services that Delta College offers their students with the intent of reducing obstacles to their success. The current total project budget is $21.6 Million. As required by the State of Michigan the completed project shall strive to obtain a LEED score of Platinum. A minimum score of "Silver" will be required by Delta College.
