Completed plans call for the addition of a theater / auditorium; for the demolition of a theater / auditorium; for the construction of a theater / auditorium; for the remodel of a theater / auditorium; and for site work for a theater / auditorium.

The Village of Kenesaw, Adams County, Nebraska will receive sealed bids for the remodel of the Auditorium. This remodeling project includes demolition and preparation for construction of new city offices, event space, a meeting room, restrooms, practice space for wrestling, a nursing classroom and rooms as well as an addition to the east side of the building for a kitchen and storeroom. The Auditorium is located in downtown Kenesaw, NE at 208 N. Smith Avenue. Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid amount, and shall be made payable to The Village of Kenesaw as security that the bidder to whom the contract may be awarded will enter into contract to construct the project and give bond in the sum of the total contract amount for the construction of the project. Checks accompanying bids not accepted shall be returned to the bidders after a contract is awarded. Performance and Payment Bonds will be required for this project. No bid shall be withdrawn after opening the bids without the consent of the Owner for a period of 60 days. The Owner reserves the right to accept, reject or negotiate any or all bids and to waive any informality in the bidding. Further, the Village reserves the right to consider, price, construction schedule and project coordination to accept the best combination of bids to meet its needs. *Addendum 1, 2, 3 and 4 have been released.
