This project includes supply and installation of geosynthetic clay liner (GCL), geomembrane, drainage geocomposite, and geotextile on a prepared subgrade. The City of Fredericksburg Landfill - Cells 12 & 13 Geosynthetics Project generally includes supply and installation of Geosynthetic Clay Liner, Geomembrane, and Drainage Geocomposite in Cells 12 & 13 of the Fredericksburg Landfill and supplying of Geotextile for others to install in the leachate collection system. A. The Site (also referred to in the Contract Documents as Project Site) is the City of Fredericksburg Landfill, owned and operated by the City of Fredericksburg. The site is located approximately 1.5 miles northeast of Fredericksburg on Ranch Road 1631. B. Access to the Cells 12 & 13 work area is via the main site entrance off Ranch Road 1631. The Contractor, subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers shall not interfere with landfill operations and shall obey traffic safety personnel and signs at all times.
